Scaling up to survive: aged care NFPs seek mergers


A whopping 40 per cent of boards of not-for-profit aged care organisations have discussed a merger with another organisation in the past 12 months, and half of them believe it will happen, a new survey of company directors has found.  Darragh O'Keeffe finds out why for Australian Ageing Agenda.

  1. The growing number of merger discussions shows how much pressure aged care providers are facing right now. Many organisations could benefit from experienced aged care consulting services to help them navigate change while keeping quality care at the centre of their decisions.
